How We Deliver Care / Commencing Home Care

At Open Doors Care Ltd we know and understand the importance of treating our service users as individuals, with their own specific needs and requirements. We constantly review service user plans to ensure that their needs are always met.

We work closely with the service user, their families, social services and other health professional to ensure we deliver the right level of care tailored to meet their needs.

  • Needs assessment where an experienced assessor will make an appointment to carry out a non obligatory visit to you in your own home to seek information about your health, needs and identify any risks that needs to be addressed.
  • Care support plan after completion of assessment together you and the assessor will draw up a care support plan to meet your needs and discuss how designed service will operate and answer any questions you may have.
  • Reassessing needs and reviewing care plan as needs of our clients change over time, this can have impact on the time, the type of care. So we constantly review our care plan and support.

Open Door Care provides quality care and support for people who are unable to look after themselves in their own homes, at a time convenient to them. We work to understand the benefits at living independently in one’s home and the positive effects this has on a person’s quality of life.
